Built in a 2800 sq. ft. "Post & Beam" custom built home, this stove will heat the entire home.

A "Heat-kit" model 22 with extra 12" core height(referred to as a high out-put system), wrap-around heated bench, rear viewing door, and a water heating coil in the firebox.

One load of wood(60lbs.) or one firing a day will heat the home to -25 deg. C. Colder temperatures will require a second firing at 12 hr. intervals. The hot water coil is connected to another coil located in the home's heating duct distribution system. With their regular gas furnace fan set on low speed the air is warmed as it passes thru the hot water coils and distributed to the parts of the home which the masonry heater doesn't "see"(ie: bedrooms,den,lower level)

The homeowners report that their investment in this heater has paid for itself in traditional home heating costs after only 6 heating seasons.
